Angie Craig, U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, recently shared several statements on her official social media account addressing holiday greetings, maternal health policy, and foreign policy concerns.

On April 5, 2026, Craig extended a message to constituents and others across the nation: “From my family to yours, Happy Easter to all those who celebrate in Minnesota and across the country! We’re wishing you and your loved ones a day filled with hope, renewal and togetherness.”

The following day, April 6, she highlighted issues in U.S. healthcare for mothers. In her post, she stated: “We have a maternal health crisis in our country. As the richest nation in the world, that’s simply unacceptable.

I’m proud to join my colleagues @RepUnderwood @RepAdams and @SenBooker in introducing the Momnibus, a 14-bill package that addresses every driver of maternal”.

On April 7, Craig commented on an international issue involving former President Donald Trump: “President Trump’s threat this morning to wipe out the entire population of Iran was beyond the pale — even for him. No Democrat or Republican in elected office should normalize this type of threat much less potential action by an American president.

It’s time to remove this”.

Craig has served as a member of Congress since defeating Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and resides in Prior Lake. Craig earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Memphis in 1994.
