Angie Craig, U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, recently used her social media platform to address key policy issues and community engagements in Minnesota.

On July 15, Craig highlighted the importance of special education programs and shared details from a meeting with local leaders: “Special education programs ensure every child has a chance to succeed – both in and out of the classroom. It was great to meet with MN special education leaders this morning about the challenges they’re facing, and how we can continue working to support special ed teachers and https://t.co/4POhJ0tREb”.

The following day, on July 16, she addressed concerns over partisan redistricting practices: “No matter who is in the White House, redistricting shouldn’t be happening on a partisan basis – and it definitely shouldn’t be happening to try and create ‘significant gains’ for one political party. I’m proud to support bipartisan legislation that moves all redistricting https://t.co/AfZiV0ocCa”.

Later that same day, Craig reported attending a meeting with industry stakeholders: “It was great to stop by the Renewable Fuel Association Board of Directors meeting yesterday! I’m proud to continue working alongside groups like these to lower prices at the pump and support Minnesota’s family farmers and rural communities. https://t.co/GJsRtFQY7s”.

Craig, born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, has focused much of her congressional work on education policy, fair election practices, and agricultural interests affecting her district. She holds a BA from the University of Memphis (1994) and succeeded Jason Lewis as representative for Minnesota’s 2nd district.
