U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district, has recently posted a series of statements on her social media accounts addressing issues ranging from immigration reform to public health leadership.

On September 3, 2025, Craig posted: “It’s called putting lipstick on a pig.”

The following day, she addressed the state of the U.S. immigration system and her legislative efforts to address it. On September 4, 2025, she wrote: “Our immigration system is broken – and it has been for a long time. I’m working to implement fast, fair and legal pathways to citizenship for folks who are contributing to our workforce.

That’s why I’m cosponsoring legislation that supports access to green cards for workers in”

Later that same day, Craig made a direct call regarding state leadership by posting: “I’m calling on @SecKennedy to resign.

I refuse to stand by while he endangers the health of Minnesotans.”

Craig has served in Congress since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019 and represents Minnesota’s 2nd District. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. Craig earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Memphis in 1994.
