Angie Craig, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, used her social media account on November 6, 2025, to address issues ranging from energy projects and health care policy to the administration of SNAP benefits.

In her first post on November 6, Craig criticized GOP Majority Whip for supporting President Trump’s decision to halt energy projects in his district: “.@GOPMajorityWhip has stood by President Trump cancelling $70M worth of energy projects in his district. That’s jobs for Minnesotans, growth for MN-06’s local economy and progress towards ending the affordability crisis in our country. And as always… when Trump starts to”.

Later that day, Craig expressed gratitude toward former Speaker Nancy Pelosi for efforts to expand health care access and referenced her own legislative work: “As the GOP continues to attack the Affordable Care Act, I’m thankful for @SpeakerPelosi, who led the charge to make health care accessible for all Americans.   One of my proudest moments in Congress was working with Speaker Pelosi to close the family glitch in 2022 – making”.

In a third post that evening, Craig accused the current administration of delaying Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funding: “This Admin continues to illegally slow walk funding SNAP in November. I’m fighting so Minnesotans can put food on the table this month.”

Craig was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and resides in Prior Lake. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994. She replaced Jason Lewis as representative of Minnesota’s 2nd district when she took office.
