U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district in Congress, posted a series of tweets on August 5, 2025, highlighting her participation at Farmfest and meetings with key agricultural groups.

In her first post from the morning of August 5, Craig wrote: “This morning, I joined the Farmfest Forum alongside other state leaders to discuss the current state of Minnesota’s Ag economy and how we can work together to get the forgotten Farm Bill programs across the finish line.”

Later that day, she met with representatives from the turkey industry. At 20:45 UTC, Craig tweeted: “From Thanksgiving dinner to school lunches – turkey is an American staple. It was great to meet with the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association today at Farmfest to discuss how we can continue to help our turkey growers succeed.”

She also shared her ongoing commitment to local farmers in another tweet at 21:28 UTC: “It’s always a treat to see @MNFarmBureau! Making sure Minnesota’s family farmers have the resources they need to feed and fuel our state will always be my priority – today and everyday.”

Craig has represented Minnesota’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. In addition to her legislative work, Craig graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.
