U.S. Congresswoman Angie Craig recently shared her experiences and thoughts through a series of tweets. As the representative of Minnesota’s 2nd District, Craig has been actively engaging with her community and addressing key issues affecting her constituents.

On April 27, 2025, Craig tweeted about her interaction with students from Lakeville South High School’s theater program. According to Craig, “Last week, the students in Lakeville South High School’s theater program let me borrow their stage for an hour for my CD2 town hall. So last night, I surprised them by attending their performance of Singin’ in the Rain. What a great show!”

Later that day, Craig highlighted her meeting with Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). In a tweet posted on April 27, 2025, she stated, “It was great to see AFT President Randi Weingarten in Minnesota this weekend. We talked about how we can create pathways for career skills in high schools and set our kids up for success.”

On the following day, April 28, 2025, Craig addressed the high cost of raising children in the United States. She tweeted, “The Admin may be trying to convince Americans to have more kids, but the problem is – it’s already too expensive to have a child in this country. We have to make child care more affordable and expanding the Child Tax Credit is one way to do that. Let’s get it done.”
