Angie Craig, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, has been actively engaging with various sectors to enhance community services and infrastructure in her constituency. Her recent communications highlight efforts in healthcare, infrastructure, and financial literacy.
On May 9, 2025, Craig shared her meeting with the Dental Trade Alliance to discuss Medicaid’s dental coverage for Minnesotans. She also celebrated the new Solventum Dental facility, which is expected to bring 2,000 jobs to the area. “Medicaid covers dental care for hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans. Yesterday, I met with the Dental Trade Alliance to discuss how we can protect this vital coverage, and to celebrate the new Solventum Dental facility that’s bringing 2000 new jobs to #MN02.”
The following day, on May 10, Craig announced funding for local infrastructure development through bipartisan efforts. The Le Sueur Municipal Airport received $426,000 for a new hangar aimed at enhancing aircraft storage and maintenance capabilities. She noted that such projects are crucial for job creation and economic growth. “Thanks to the bipartisan infrastructure law, the Le Sueur Municipal Airport was just awarded $426,000 to construct a new hangar for aircraft storage and maintenance.”
Later on May 10, Craig discussed financial literacy programs with Thrivent. She emphasized the importance of connecting with Minnesota organizations to foster community well-being and economic resilience. “This week I met with Thrivent to discuss how we can improve access to financial literacy programs.”
