Belmont falls 13-3 to UAB as Tate Marland pitches two innings

Belmont Bruins, led by former Lakeville South High School standout Tate Marland, suffered a 13-3 defeat to the UAB Blazers in an NCAA Division I baseball game played Friday, March 13, at 5 p.m.

The contest was held at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field, and marked the Bruins’ first game against the Blazers this season.

Marland gave up nine earned runs during his two innings on the mound.

Belmont is set to face UAB again on Saturday, March 14, with first pitch scheduled for 2:05 p.m. at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field.
