Former Rosemount High School standout Olivia Guggenberger helped the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties clinch a 7-6 victory over the Whittier Poets in their NCAA Division III softball contest held Monday, March 2, at 11 a.m.
The matchup took place at Charles and Marie Palmer Softball Field and marked their first meeting against the Poets this season.
Guggenberger contributed one hit in three at-bats, drove in three runs and struck out once.
The Golden Gusties are set to play their next game Tuesday, March 3, at 12 p.m. at The Field of Dreams versus Redlands Bulldogs.
