State Rep Jon Koznick, a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, recently shared several updates and personal reflections on his social media account. His posts covered topics ranging from local business developments to community responses following a tragic event.

On August 27, 2025, Koznick expressed support for a local restaurant in Lakeville, writing: “Hoping to see you and @SenatorChampion in Lakeville at MN’s ONLY @CrackerBarrel soon! Glad to hear they are backing away from proposed changes to logo and stores!” The comment refers to Cracker Barrel’s decision not to proceed with planned changes to its branding and store design.

Later that day, Koznick responded to news of violence at a place of worship. In a post dated August 27, 2025, he stated: “As a parent, but especially as a frm Catholic school parent, the #Annunciation Church shooting is heartbreaking. Worst nightmare. We pray for God’s reassuring presence for the families and community.”

Three days later, on August 30, 2025, Koznick addressed the role of prayer during difficult times. He wrote: “We can not be intimidated or made thought foolish for praying. Pray we must.”

Koznick represents constituents in Minnesota and frequently uses his platform to discuss both legislative issues and matters affecting his local community.
