Apple Valley home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Apple Valley rose by $51,900 while total sales decreased by 9.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 150 homes sold, with a median sale price of $251,000 - a 26.1% increase over the $199,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 166 homes sold in Apple Valley in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Apple Valley for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,436, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
