Hampton (Dakota County) home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Hampton in Dakota County fell by $11,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 10 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 4.7% decrease over the $246,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Hampton in the second half of 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Hampton for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,076, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
