Rosemount home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Rosemount rose by $21,100 while total sales increased by 15.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 221 homes sold, with a median sale price of $261,000 - a 8.8% increase over the $239,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 191 homes sold in Rosemount in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Rosemount for the most recent year with available data, 2014, was $2,607, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
