Rosemount home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Rosemount rose by $14,000 while total sales increased by 1.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 425 homes sold, with a median sale price of $265,000 - a 5.6% increase over the $251,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 419 homes sold in Rosemount in 2017.

The median sales tax in Rosemount for 2018 was $2,962. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,607. This marks an increase of 13.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
