Eureka Center home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Eureka Center fell by $55,000 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $267,500 - a 17.1% decrease over the $322,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Eureka Center in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Eureka Center for 2018 was $3,184. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,835. This marks an increase of 12.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
