Randolph home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Randolph rose by $15,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,000 - a 7.3% increase over the $205,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Randolph in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Randolph for 2018 was $2,000. In 2014, the median sales tax was $1,657. This marks an increase of 20.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.9%.
