Apple Valley home prices unchanged in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Apple Valley was unchanged while total sales decreased by 1.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 225 homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000. There were 228 homes sold in Apple Valley in the fourth quarter of 2017, and the median sales price for the period was also $240,000.

The median sales tax in Apple Valley for 2018 was $2,718. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,436. This marks an increase of 11.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
