Mendota Heights home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Mendota Heights fell by $36,750 while total sales decreased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 45 homes sold, with a median sale price of $307,000 - a 10.7% decrease over the $343,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Mendota Heights in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mendota Heights for 2018 was $3,905. In 2014, the median sales tax was $3,518. This marks an increase of 11%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
