Hampton (Dakota County) home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Hampton in Dakota County fell by $105,000 while total sales decreased by 62.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000 - a 44.7% decrease over the $235,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Hampton in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hampton for 2018 was $2,422. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,076. This marks an increase of 16.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
