Mendota Heights home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Mendota Heights fell by $44,449 while total sales increased by 31.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 62 homes sold, with a median sale price of $387,450 - a 10.3% decrease over the $431,899 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 47 homes sold in Mendota Heights in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mendota Heights for 2018 was $3,905. In 2014, the median sales tax was $3,518. This marks an increase of 11%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
