Apple Valley home prices rise in December 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Apple Valley rose by $13,900 while total sales decreased by 25.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were 55 homes sold, with a median sale price of $249,900 - a 5.9% increase over the $236,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 74 homes sold in Apple Valley in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Apple Valley for 2018 was $2,718. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,436. This marks an increase of 11.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
