Apple Valley home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Apple Valley fell by $16,630 while total sales increased by 19.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 117 homes sold, with a median sale price of $233,000 - a 6.7% decrease over the $249,630 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 98 homes sold in Apple Valley in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Apple Valley for 2018 was $2,718. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,436. This marks an increase of 11.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
