The Minnesota House Republican Caucus extended its gratitude to countless individuals working to help ease the dire effects of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
State Rep. Tony Jurgens recently shared a Facebook video of several of his GOP colleagues in the Minnesota House of Representatives delivering messages of thanks.
“Minnesota House Republicans say 'thank you' to everyone keeping Minnesota moving and to everyone else: 'Stay home, Minnesota!' We're in this together," the post read.
Jurgens offered thanks on his profile and even listed “some of the people working for all of us,” including, but not limited to: nurses, farmers, grocery store workers, gas station attendants and first responders.
As of March 30, Minnesota has 1,221 novel coronavirus cases.
Gov. Tim Walz issued a statewide stay-at-home order on March 25. The order prohibits Minnesotans from going anywhere except to pick up groceries or seek medical treatment.
