Burnsville High School issued the following announcement on June 25.
We have a NEW ADDITION to Blaze Athletics Summer Camps ... Boys Basketball Individual Skills Camp! Registration is limited, so sign up soon at communityed191.org! Camp will run July 7-30 at Nicollet Middle School for grades 4-8, and will be run by Andre Hollins, who is a 27-year-old retired professional basketball player from Memphis, Tennessee. He received the 2011 Tennessee Mr. Basketball award his senior year before committing to the University of Minnesota. Andre started all four years at the U and finished his career as the Gopher’s 5th all-time leading scorer. After graduating from the Carlson School of Management, he started his professional basketball career overseas in Europe.
He has played in Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Finland and Sweden. Now that he has retired, he seeks to use his experiences and knowledge to help youth players improve their games.
