City of Burnsville issued the following announcement on July 1.
Night to Unite (known as National Night Out in some communities) is held on the first Tuesday in August. However, this year it has been postponed until Oct. 6.
Organizers are crossing their fingers that the 2020 Night to Unite can be the same as previous years. However, that might not be possible. Staff is attempting to prepare a COVID-19 friendly back-up plan. More information will be posted as plans are finalized.
Night to Unite gives neighbors the opportunity to get together; get to know one another; heighten awareness of crime, drug and violence prevention; and strengthen community partnerships.
