Burnsville Psd issued the following announcement on Oct 6.
October is College Knowledge Month and we've gone virtual!
College Knowledge Month is a statewide program to help all students grades 9-12 explore their career and college options, plan for life after high school and complete college applications.
The goal of College Knowledge Month is to provide every graduating senior with the opportunity to learn about and apply to college, and to encourage younger students to start planning for life after high school.
We want to encourage all students to participate in events to help them explore and prepare for post-secondary education, including certificate programs, two-year and four-year degrees.
Upcoming events at Burnsville High School include:
Virtual college visits! (students must register through Naviance)
Virtual Financial Aid Night is Oct. 22 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Free MN Applications during the month of October for most Minnesota colleges and universities.
Daily emails, announcements & tweets about college research, college application process, financial aid and more!
College Wear Monday & Thursday! - wear your college gear every Monday & Thursday during October
