Empire median home prices fell by 6.5% in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Empire fell by $19,000 while total sales increased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $273,500 - a 6.5% decrease over the $292,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Empire in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Empire for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,559, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
