South St. Paul home prices rose in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in South St. Paul rose by $46,100 while total sales decreased by 2.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 81 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 20.1% increase over the $228,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 83 homes sold in South St. Paul in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in South St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $2,833, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
