The first half of 2021: Home prices in Farmington increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Farmington rose by $30,500 while total sales increased by 6.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 205 homes sold, with a median sale price of $315,000 - a 10.7% increase over the $284,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 192 homes sold in Farmington in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Farmington for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,822, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
