Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce: Coffee Break - 360 Communities

14

Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Coffee Break at 360 Communities

Start your morning off right with a fresh cup of coffee, a business card, and a visit to a DCR Chamber member business. The monthly Coffee Break was established to casually network while gathering in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere.  Join us for a great morning of networking.

360 Communities will be hosting the Coffee Break at Art Works Eagan.

About 360 Communities

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022, 360 Communities provides hope and support to about 15,000 individuals each year with services in over 40 locations, including a network of five food shelves, two resource centers, two domestic and sexual violence shelters, and two programs that support school success from birth through high school graduation.

Exhibit Open after DCR Coffee Break:  “What were you wearing?” Exhibition at Art Works in Eagan

360 Communities and Art Works in Eagan are partnering for a free live exhibition. Attendees are welcome to check out the exhibit after the Coffee Break.

“What were you wearing?” is one of the most common victim-blaming questions victims/survivors endure. 360 Communities seeks to dispel the myth that the clothes a person wears can invite sexual violence. We asked for victims/survivors of sexual assault to share their experiences anonymously to help us do this. The project concept originated at the University of Arkansas in 2013 and has been done by other organizations in multiple states and countries.
