Dakota County will host the eighth-annual free School Recycling Workshop on Wednesday, July 20 from 8:30–11:35 a.m. online. All school personnel — including administrators, building and grounds personnel, food service staff and Green Team leaders — are encouraged to attend. They will learn ways to reduce waste and improve recycling and organics programs.
New panelists and topics are covered each year with a breakout session and opportunities to interact with other attendees. This year's topics include new school organics requirements, food waste reduction opportunities, hauler contracts and recycling resources.
