Q2: Hampton (Dakota County) experienced a 25.6% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Hampton in Dakota County rose by $78,500 while total sales increased by 60 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $385,000 - a 25.6 percent increase over the $306,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Hampton in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Hampton for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $2,676, approximately 0.7 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
