Median home prices in Castle Rock rose to $415,500 in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Castle Rock rose by $60,500 while total sales decreased by 20 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $415,500 - a 17 percent increase over the $355,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Castle Rock in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Castle Rock for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,203, approximately 0.8 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
