What happened to the median home price in Empire during the first half of 2022?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Empire rose by $59,400 while total sales decreased by 29.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $379,900 - an 18.5 percent increase over the $320,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Empire in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Empire for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,559, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
