First half of 2022: Home prices in Hampton (Dakota County) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Hampton in Dakota County rose by $78,000 while total sales increased by 11.1 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $363,000 - a 27.4 percent increase over the $285,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Hampton in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Hampton for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $2,676, approximately 0.7 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
