Eagan home prices rose in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Eagan rose by $15,900 while total sales decreased by 12 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 412 homes sold, with a median sale price of $350,650 - a 4.7 percent increase over the $334,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 468 homes sold in Eagan in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Eagan for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,332, approximately one percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
