2022 AM Coffee Break: August with the Community Foundation at Ames Center

Date and Time

Wednesday Aug 10, 2022

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM CDT

Enjoy a special AM Coffee Break on the Nicollet Commons Plaza hosted by the Burnsville Community Foundation and Ames Center. Coffee, breakfast treats, and sunshine will be provided.

The Burnsville Community Foundation raises funds for the purposes of community beautification through memorial benches and pavers, winter lighting and snowflakes, and accepts charitable gifts to our General Fund, Donor-Advised Funds, and Memorial Funds. HOMAGE is the most recent project adopted by the Burnsville Community Foundation board of directors. The project pays tribute to the dedication, sacrifice, and bravery of our First Responders.

The Ames Center, formerly Burnsville Performing Arts Center, opened in January 2009.  The center has two theaters, the 1,014 seat Masquerade Dance Theater and an intimate 150 seat Black Box Theater, a two-story lobby with sweeping views of Nicollet Commons Park, the Minnesota River Valley, and the Minneapolis Skyline, a 2,000-square-foot art gallery, meeting rooms and a large rehearsal room. Presentations at the Ames Center include cultural events, dramas, comedies, dance and musical acts from local arts organizations and national touring artists.
