All District 196 families are encouraged to apply for the Educational Benefits Program (formerly known as the Free and Reduced-Price Meals Program) for the upcoming school year. A NEW application must be submitted each year.
Your children may qualify for free or reduced-price school meal benefits for school year 2022-23. If a household who meets the State/Federal guidelines and is approved, this provides students with school meal benefits.
The Educational Benefits Program applications not only ensure students have access to nutritious meals, it also provides critical funding for schools and access to discounted activities and Community Education courses. Learn more about how this application supports District 196 >
