The Burnsville License Center will close later this week for a remodel that will improve service for customers.

The license center will close beginning Friday, Jan. 13 at 4:30 p.m. It will reopen Monday, April 10 at 8 a.m.

Remodeling will improve the customer experience by adding a sixth employee workstation, increasing the customer seating area and improving security measures.

During the closure, customers can visit other locations for driver and motor vehicle services, including Lakeville License Center, Robert Trail License Center in Rosemount and the Administration Center in Hastings. Dakota County also offers license services at Western Service Center in Apple Valley and the Northern Service Center in West St. Paul.
