Angie Craig, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota's 2nd District since 2019, recently shared updates on her activities and concerns via social media. Her posts highlight efforts in securing funding for infrastructure, engaging with local community leaders, and addressing economic challenges faced by farmers and consumers.

On February 1, 2025, Craig reflected on her role in obtaining significant financial support for Progressive Rail of Lakeville. She stated, "In October, I helped secure $37 million in funding for Progressive Rail of Lakeville to improve aging rail infrastructure, expand service capacity and create jobs. Yesterday, I had the honor of formally congratulating founder Dave Fellon and his team for this well-deserved grant."

The following day, February 2, 2025, she recounted a meeting with local officials at Park Cafe in St. Paul Park. Craig mentioned, "Last week, I had breakfast at Park Cafe in St. Paul Park with Mayor and owner Keith Franke and Washington County Commissioner Karla Bigham. We caught up on local issues and talked about the need to lower the cost of living – especially eggs!"

Later that day, Craig expressed concern over economic pressures affecting both farmers and consumers due to trade policies. She noted that "At a time when farmers are struggling with high input costs and Minnesotans are being crippled by the cost of gas and groceries, sweeping tariffs will make it more expensive for farmers to grow food and for consumers to buy it. Nobody wins in a trade war."
