Angie Craig, a U.S. Congress representative for Minnesota’s 2nd District, has been active in addressing key issues through her social media presence. Her recent tweets highlight legislative efforts and personal stories related to healthcare and the opioid crisis.

On February 4, 2025, Angie Craig emphasized the importance of enhancing healthcare access in rural communities by developing local health care professionals. She stated, "Improving access to care in rural communities starts with developing top-notch health care professionals right here at home. I've got a bipartisan bill help to recruit, train & retain allied health workers & ensure that folks in every corner of #MN02 have access to quality care."

Later that day, she highlighted a testimony given before the Senate Judiciary Committee by Bridgette Norring from Hastings. In her tweet, Craig shared Norring's tragic story about her son Devin who died from fentanyl poisoning after purchasing what he believed was a pain pill on Snapchat. She tweeted, "Today, Hastings’ Bridgette Norring testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee to share the story of her son, Devin. Devin died after buying a pressed pill on Snapchat that he thought was for pain that turned out to be pure fentanyl."

Following this testimony, Craig called for action against illicit drug sales on social media platforms. She urged for measures to honor Devin's memory and prevent further tragedies by banning such activities online. Her statement read: "It's time to honor Devin & ban the marketing and sale of illicit fentanyl on social media platforms."
