Craig, who has been in office since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019, is actively involved in various legislative efforts and community interactions.

On February 9, 2025, Angie Craig posted about attending the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Legislative Conference. She stated, "Yesterday, I attended the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Legislative Conference to talk with rank-and-file police officers about how we can work together to recruit and retain law enforcement officers and ensure they are supported on the job."

Later that day, she highlighted her discussions with union representatives. In a tweet from February 9, 2025, she mentioned meeting with Rick Varco of SEIU Healthcare MN. She emphasized the role of union workers in Minnesota's economy by stating "Union workers are the beating heart of Minnesota’s economy and we have to make sure they have access to affordable, quality health care. On February 10, 2025, Craig addressed concerns regarding energy costs for Minnesotans. She tweeted "Minnesotans shouldn’t have to worry about the cost of keeping warm. That’s why I’m fighting to fully fund the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program to help reduce energy costs for working folks." Her focus remains on securing funding for programs that alleviate financial burdens on low-income families.
