Angie Craig, a U.S. Congress member representing Minnesota's 2nd district since 2019, shared several thoughts and commitments on social media recently. Born in West Helena, Arkansas, and currently residing in Prior Lake, Craig has been vocal about her dedication to key issues affecting her constituents.
On February 18, 2025, Craig expressed her commitment to protecting critical programs for seniors. She stated, "I will fight any attempt to weaken critical programs like Medicare and Social Security — that’s my promise to Minnesota seniors."
Later the same day, she reflected on a tragic event from the previous year involving the loss of three individuals in Burnsville. She tweeted, "It’s hard to believe a year has passed since we lost Adam, Paul and Matthew in Burnsville. I keep them and their families – and all members of the Burnsville and first responder community – in my heart every day."
Additionally, Craig visited a memorial at Burnsville City Hall to honor those who were lost. She mentioned this visit by stating, "Spent a quiet moment in community at the memorial at Burnsville City Hall today to honor their memories."
