Angie Craig, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota's 2nd district, has been vocal about recent developments through her social media posts. Craig, who replaced Jason Lewis in 2019 and resides in Prior Lake, shared her thoughts on various issues from legislative collaborations to state budget concerns.

On March 5, 2025, Angie Craig expressed her sorrow over the passing of Congressman Sylvester Turner. She described him as "a strong leader for Texas and the City of Houston," noting her pride in having served alongside him. "I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Congressman Sylvester Turner. Congressman Turner was a strong leader for Texas and the City of Houston, and I've been proud to serve alongside him over the past few months. May he rest in peace."

Later that day, Craig shared her experience meeting with County Commissioners from Dakota, Washington, and Scott Counties. She emphasized the dedication of local governments in advocating for communities and reaffirmed her commitment to collaborative efforts for Minnesotans. "Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting with County Commissioners from Dakota, Washington and Scott Counties... MN's local governments work tirelessly to advocate for our communities, and I’m committed to working together to deliver for Minnesotans."

On March 6, 2025, she addressed potential impacts on Medicaid funding as highlighted by Minnesota’s Republican state legislators. Craig quoted their concerns about significant reductions potentially affecting 1.4 million people served by Medicaid in Minnesota and creating financial pressure on the state's budget. "Take it from MN’s Republican state legislators: 'Drastic reductions to Medicaid funding have the potential to impact the 1.4 million people we serve and place incredible pressure on our state budget.'"
