Angie Craig, a U.S. Congress member representing Minnesota's 2nd district since 2019, has recently shared her concerns and achievements through a series of tweets. Born in West Helena, Arkansas, in 1972 and currently residing in Prior Lake, Craig graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.
On March 25, 2025, Angie Craig expressed her disapproval regarding recent administrative decisions affecting local farmers and cybersecurity efforts. She stated: "First the Admin cut programs that pay local farmers to feed MN kids. Now they’re slashing terror prevention efforts that protect our religious institutions and cybersecurity grants that keep our private information safe. Seriously, what are these people thinking?"
Later on the same day, she addressed issues concerning postal workers and mail service across Minnesota: "Postal workers and letter carriers are under attack, while mail service across MN – especially in our rural communities – continues to decline. Today, I met with the MN Rural Letter Carriers to discuss how I can best support them as we fight DeJoy and DOGE’s relentless attacks."
In another tweet posted on March 25th, she announced receiving an award for her contributions to water quality: "I am honored to receive the Water Quality Association’s Water Quality Leadership Award. Clean water should be a right – not a privilege – and that’s why I’m working to ensure every Minnesotan has access to safe, reliable water."
