On Sunday, March 23, former Eastview Senior High School standout Jon Mekonnen’s current collegiate team the Colorado State Rams lost 72-71 against the Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Climate Pledge Arena, this was the first game against the Maryland Terrapins during the championship.

Jon Mekonnen’s hometown is Eagan and game position is forward.
