Angie Craig, a U.S. Congress member representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, actively shares her legislative activities and opinions on social media. Her recent tweets provide insights into her positions on various critical issues and legislative measures.

On April 28, Craig announced her support for online safety measures with a recent legislative vote. She stated, "I just voted to ban the publication of nonconsensual images and deepfakes on the internet. Keeping our communities safe means keeping them safe everywhere - and that includes online."

In a tweet from April 29, Craig scrutinized the current administration for not upholding its commitments related to cost reductions. She expressed her disappointment by asserting, "The President vowed to lower costs on day one. One hundred days later, he’s doing the exact opposite. More broken promises."

Later the same day, Craig addressed issues concerning pharmaceutical costs. She highlighted the challenges faced by Minnesotans in accessing necessary medications while criticizing pharmaceutical companies for their financial gains. She detailed her legislative response by stating, "While Minnesotans struggle to access life-saving medications they need, large pharmaceutical companies are raking in record-breaking profits. That’s why I introduced a bipartisan bill that will eliminate tax breaks for prescription drug advertisements."

Angie Craig, originally from West Helena, Arkansas, resides in Prior Lake and holds a BA from the University of Memphis. She has been integral in representing her district in Congress and has actively worked on issues pertinent to her constituents.
