Angie Craig, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 2nd district, has shared several updates through her social media platform. The posts reflect her appreciation for various individuals and groups contributing to society.

On May 5, 2025, Angie Craig expressed gratitude towards Sue, a long-time advocate for mental health funding and services in Minnesota. She wrote: "For decades, Sue has been a champion for increased mental health funding and services in Minnesota – and I’m lucky to call her a friend. Thank you for your 24 years of life-changing work, Sue. Wishing you all the best in your retirement!"

Later that day, Craig highlighted Public Service Recognition Week by emphasizing the importance of supporting federal employees. She stated: "It’s Public Service Recognition Week and now, more than ever, we need to stand up for our federal workforce." This message was accompanied by a mention of @AFGENational.

On May 6, 2025, during Teacher Appreciation Week, Craig acknowledged the efforts of educators in Minnesota. As someone personally connected to the teaching profession through family ties, she conveyed her respect by stating: "It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and as the wife and daughter of teachers, I know how hard our educators work to create opportunities for our students. To all of Minnesota’s incredible teachers, thank you."

Craig has been serving in Congress since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and residing in Prior Lake, she holds a BA from the University of Memphis.
