Angie Craig, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2019, has been actively engaging with various stakeholders to address key issues affecting her constituents. Born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and a graduate of the University of Memphis, Craig has focused on housing affordability, small business support, and international agricultural partnerships.

On May 8, 2025, Angie Craig expressed concern over housing affordability for Minnesotans. She stated that "Buying a home is out of reach for too many Minnesotans." She mentioned her meeting with Minnesota’s Land Title Association on Housing Solutions to explore ways to reduce housing costs for the middle class.

In another tweet from the same day, Craig celebrated Small Business Week by highlighting the significance of small businesses to Minnesota's economy. She announced the reintroduction of her Small Business Tax Relief Act with the aim of reducing taxes for small business owners. As she put it: "Small businesses are the backbone of Minnesota’s economy."

Furthermore, Angie Craig met with Julio Berdegué Sacristán, Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development from Mexico. They discussed their collaborative efforts to enhance the agricultural supply chain and ensure global food security. Reflecting on this meeting, she noted: "We discussed the importance of our partnership as we work together to strengthen the ag supply chain."
