U.S. Representative Angie Craig, who serves Minnesota’s 2nd district in Congress, recently shared several posts on her social media platform X (formerly Twitter), ranging from sports commentary to remarks on legislative developments and mental health awareness.
On September 8, 2025, Craig commented on the start of the NFL season with a pointed message aimed at a rival football team: "Happy Monday to everyone except the @ChicagoBears! Skol and happy @Vikings season opener https://t.co/LPDeH29kUd".
Later that day, she addressed concerns about pending legislation affecting food assistance programs: "Hell of a celebration dinner for a bill that could strip 42 million working Americans of food assistance. Tearing up a rose garden and replacing it with concrete is really on brand for you all though. https://t.co/0epppYlZd4".
On September 9, 2025, Craig drew attention to Suicide Prevention Awareness Month by sharing resources for those in need: "September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. If you, or a loved one is struggling – contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 9-8-8. No one has to suffer alone."
Craig has represented Minnesota’s 2nd congressional district since replacing Jason Lewis in 2019. She was born in West Helena, Arkansas in 1972 and currently resides in Prior Lake. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in 1994.
